On June 14, 2025, we will defy the gentrification machinery of the real estate industry in the best of company and celebrate our long-established neighborhood in the milieu protection area Weberwiese at our third street festival!

We cordially invite all neighbors and interested parties to Gubener Strasse, corner of Grünberger Strasse in Friedrichshain from 15:00 to 21:00.

In addition to a musical program by DAFFFKE, Lilmieux, Wisdom Pie and Daaling, initiatives such as Deutsche Wohnen & Co Enteignen, Berlin Vs Amazon, Pankow gegen Verdrängung and the Berlin Tenants' Association will be there to provide information on urgent issues such as termination of owner-occupancy and selling out of our neighborhoods.

Historian Wanja Abramowski from the Friedrichshain history association Hans Kohlhase e.V. will give a guided tour on the history of the Weberwiese neighborhood.

In addition to fun and games, younger guests can marvel at a fire engine from the Berlin fire department. The grown-ups among us can be enchanted by the anti-fascist magic duo.

In addition to a cake buffet, we will be supplied with drinks by the Grünberger Weinhandlung!
