Weinen mit Weeds - Queering Urban Space

Do we all have to be loud, colorful and dazzling in order to fight for our place in the city? What about the nuances, what is in flux, ambiguous, unable or unwilling to settle? What about our sadness in connection with the need for gentleness and peace?

We come together with all these questions for "Weeping with Weeds". In this wandering scavenger hunt in work/playshop format, we water the dandelions with our tears and cry into the cracks in the asphalt. We write our inner frictions into the construction fence and observe the city air on its journey around bird bodies. We reach the beginning of our destination without knowing the exact route - and without any effort or stress.
We draw on Black and decolonial queer perspectives from FLINTA*, lesbians and womanists.
