Weinfest

In the organizer's words:

This is the 16th year that winegrowers have come to Lünen to bring wine and culinary delights. Wineries from growing regions all over Germany ensure the success of the event in the tried and tested manner. As in previous years, our friends from Weingut Wilhelmy from Langenlonsheim (Nahe) and Weingut Schnabel from Gau-Bickelheim (Rheinhessen) will be represented. The Jakobshof winery from Hillesheim already honored us last year and were apparently so enthusiastic that they are participating again. This year, we are also looking forward to welcoming Weingut Martin from Armsheim (Rheinhessen). In keeping with tradition, the festival will take place under the chestnut trees at the southern end of the pedestrian zone (on the corner of Lange Straße and Neuberinstraße).

Current highlights and classics from our winegrowers will be presented. Visitors can get personal advice from the winegrowers on site, enjoy the variety on offer and relax. A tasty, original alternative to the bratwurst stand will provide for your physical well-being. "Die Flammkuchenschmiede" prepares tarte flambée in the original Alsatian style with fresh ingredients right in front of visitors. Whether savory, spicy or sweet - everyone will find something to their taste here. The antipasti platters, which were very popular last year, will also be available again. A DJ will accompany the evenings with music and create a great atmosphere.
