Welcome to the WEINsommer in Osnabrück - the ultimate meeting place for wine lovers and connoisseurs! When the market square turns into a tempting wine oasis in July, the WEINsommer is just around the corner. This summer highlight attracts wine lovers from Osnabrück and the surrounding region. The winegrowers are already looking forward to seeing you again.

The WEINsommer invites you to taste, discover and enjoy in cheerful company. Here you have the opportunity to find your favorite wines and get to know the people behind them - the passionate producers - in person.

The 2024 vintage in Germany was once again characterized by climatic challenges that demanded a lot from the winegrowers. After a mild winter, a late frost in spring caused yield losses in some regions, which particularly affected the early grape varieties. The late frost was followed by a rainy spring and a hot, dry summer, which led to a lack of water in many places. Despite this, the winegrowers managed to make clever use of the short periods of rain to produce a high-quality harvest.

Embedded in the charming backdrop of Osnabrück, the market square invites you to experience the authentic ambience of the city and taste the new vintage. Enjoy an atmospheric stay in hopefully sunny summer weather.
