Weinviertel, where Grüner Veltliner is at home

Experience the wine diversity of the Weinviertel: you can taste over 250 wines from around 50 winegrowers from the Weinviertel, from Grüner Veltliner to bubbles, for a whole afternoon from 4 to 8 pm for just €18.

The Weinviertel winegrowers invite you to their tables in the beautiful hall of the Alte Kongresshalle in Munich! A year goes by so quickly, and once again the question is: Are you ready to have your glasses filled with fruity, peppery, fresh real Grüner Veltliner?

YAAAAAHH! Then be sure to stop by, taste and enjoy. Grab the Street.Wine plan and go tasting by theme on your own. Because the Weinviertel, Austria's largest wine-growing region, has not only Weinviertel _DAC, which is always a genuine Grüner Veltliner, but also fine red wines, delicious rosé and aromatic eye-catchers to offer.

Situated to the north of Vienna, under a wide sky, the landscape gently undulating and varied, with picturesque cellar alleys and winegrowing villages, this is the home of Austria's first designation of origin: Weinviertel _DAC, always a genuine Grüner Veltliner from the Weinviertel! Fancy tasting the Weinviertel by the glass? Have fun discovering new winemakers and new wines by the glass with friends at the Street.Wine - Plan? Well, then open the colorful timetable at the tables, choose the theme and off you go, glass in hand!

At around 50 tables, the winemakers will be on hand to answer visitors' questions and talk about the new vintage, exciting new projects and their love of the fruity, peppery Grüner Veltliner, which has been successfully positioning its origins as Weinviertel _DAC for over 20 years.

Our popular guided Wine.Walks are also available this year! With headsets and a competent sommelier, the tour takes you to the winegrowers' tables and to get to know the wines by theme!

ARGE Heumilch will once again be a guest in the beautiful foyer with its delicious cheese specialties from the hay milk regions. Here you can celebrate the perfect combination of cheese and wine and enjoy a tasty selection of wines to go with your cheese.

Looking for a cool place to stay for a short break in the Weinviertel? The tourist office can be found with lots of tips in the beautiful foyer with hotel and guest room addresses, relaxed bike tours and the right bike tour maps, as well as invitations to a cozy wine tavern in one of the beautiful cellar alleys.
