The delicious funky indie genre mix smoothie

Weltbildhauer:innen are far too volatile for just one musical genre - which is why the Freiburg quartet simply mixes everything they can get their hands on into an exciting cocktail of indie pop, rock, funk and ska, served with edgy German lyrics. Sometimes cheeky and humorous, then thoughtful and provocative, they deal with social issues in a socially critical way. The refreshing combination of drums, bass, trombone and electric guitar, including four-part vocals, provides the often political, satirical or highly emotional lyrics with danceable momentum. The whole thing could be described as "crossover", or as the four prefer to call it: "cocktail rock"
