Welterbe-Festival in der Hufeisensiedlung

100th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the Horseshoe Estate: Horseshoe Week from July 23 to 26, 2025 in the UNESCO World Heritage Britz Estate

The World Heritage Festival initiated by the Berlin State Monuments Office is entering its second year. In collaboration with Vonovia, the Association of Friends and Sponsors of the Hufeisensiedlung and other important partners, this year's festival will take place from July 23 to 26, 2025 in the listed Hufeisensiedlung on the occasion of 650 years of Britz and 100 years of the laying of the foundation stone. Under the motto Experience ARCHITECTURE - Live COMMUNITY, the program of the Horseshoe Week draws an arc from the holistic visions of Bruno Taut and Martin Wagner of the 1920s to the present day of the estate. Above all, the festival aims to show how modernist housing estates continue to inspire today.

The festival brings together musicians, writers, residents, experts and guests to celebrate Bruno Taut's architecture across generations and disciplines in an interplay of the arts.
