Weltgeschichtentag 2025 - Wundervolle Geschichten am Feuer

Wonderful stories by the fire - Leipzig storytellers tell fairy tales and stories for young and old around the campfire in the art garden, 3 p.m. & 7 p.m.

On Thursday, March 20, it's that time again: it's World Storytelling Day. This means that on this day, the genre of free storytelling is commemorated around the globe, an age-old tradition that is once again receiving more attention and importance these days. Because we all like to hear, see and read stories, fairy tales and myths - from the exciting to the curious, about good and evil, love and hope, happiness and misfortune. This year's motto: Deep Water. Deep water.
Good stories will also be told in the Budde House on World Story Day. The storytellers of the Leipzig Storytelling Circle invite you to the campfire in the art garden: At 3 p.m. children and families, at 7 p.m. adults.

Free admission, the hat goes round.

Admission: from 2.30 pm or 6.30 pm (free choice of seats)

Venue: The event will take place in the art garden of the Budde House (with a warming fire and roofing in case of rainy weather).
