A dialogical tour about queer perspectives in art history
In this tour, selected works of art from the collection of the Hamburger Kunsthalle and prints from the Kupferstichkabinett will be presented and a context created for queer history and queer identities.
The focus will be on the construct and symbolism of binarity, erotic expressions in the multitude of love affairs with gods and goddesses, homosociality and homosexuality in images of friends and saints, as well as modern debates on queerness and social gender.
