WERKnah #01 – Stürtz & Helker

In the organizer's words:

To kick off our new WERKnah series, we cordially invite you to the studio of Michaele Helker and Helmut Stürtz in Cologne's Südstadt district.

In a personal setting, you will first get to know the two artists in a round of introductions - two positions that have been friends for years and yet go their own ways.

The subsequent art talk, moderated by Arnd Schäfer, will focus on similarities and differences in their artistic work:

How are works between collage, object, painting and drawing created? What connects the two - in attitude, technique, working process - and where do they consciously go their separate ways?

In the second part of the evening/event, it's up to you: during an impulse workshop, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the transfer technique - on cardboard and other analog carrier materials.

The experience will be rounded off with a relaxed exchange over snacks and drinks.
