A transition, whether social or medical, is a monumental event in the lives of those who experience it. But to what extent is a life determined by a transition? What does it trigger when you come to terms with your true self? Is there such a thing as a true self?
In her dramatic and directorial debut TO TRANSITION, Lili Alexander shares her life - love, hate, family, loneliness, suffering and unbridled joie de vivre can be found between the often violent reality of being a trans woman and the magical glamor of the stage. TO TRANSITION is a multimedia one-woman show, peppered with musical dance and lipsync performances, showing life in its most dazzling colors and darkest abysses and inviting visitors to reflect on the journeys they are currently on.
