His ambient sound conveys a feeling of uncertainty - neither threat nor relaxation, but somewhere in between. The releases on his label West Mineral Ltd. sometimes move in this beatless space, sometimes they reach breathtaking tempos. // Perila is a sound and visual artist, DJ, performer and poet born in St. Petersburg and living in Berlin. Her performances and DJ sets are dense narratives that drift through a rich sonic palette, immersing the listener in a personal and sensual journey.
