WETTERMANN releases his new album "Wir schweben in Gefahr" on 16.5.2025! Via DRAN, the Leipzig music collective! There will also be a tour, which will start as usual at Ilse's Erika.

Everything is in a state of flux, the weather is constantly changing, only the weatherman remains true to himself. Why? Because he can rely on rhythm and harmony, on drums and bass, on Jacob and Jörn (or Jo), on the divine Doris with accordion and keyboard and on two guitars and then there's an old man with his voice on the microphone. Age wise.

Axel Rapp writes songs about trivialities that concern us all. Linguistically, he always hits the nail on the head. His band Wettermann translates this musically with ease and celebrates the lyrics in notes and grooves.

So we predict yesterday's weather and we already know tomorrow what it won't be like today. The music is very good and so are the lyrics.

It's not a pop song, not a chanson, not reggae, not jazz, not punk - it's simply: Wettermann.
