With their party "Moonchild Tanznacht - Remember the 1st WGT" every year at Whitsun, 3 guys at Tanzcafé Ilse's Erika commemorate the "1st Wave & Gothic Treffen" in Leipzig in 1992, which took place in the "Eiskeller" (now Conne Island).

The 3 protagonists are Arne Gräfrath (1st WGT), Sandro Standhaft (WGT - co-founder), Sascha Lange (historian, writer / Our Darkness - Gruftis und Waver in der DDR / Monument / Behind The Wall - Depeche Mode-Fankultur In Der DDR / Depeche Mode Live u.m.).
