What the City. Perspektiven unserer Stadt

In the organizer's words:

The Munich City Museum continues - despite the general renovation!

From May 15, we will open the first floor of the historic Zeughaus on St.-Jakobs-Platz for the interim exhibition "What the City". The exhibition deals with perspectives on the city of Munich from the past, present and future and will be on display until 2027.

Ten chapters - so-called Cities - highlight different facets of the Bavarian capital. Central current questions are addressed: How can the city be made greener and more liveable? Is the cliché that Munich residents are rich and chic true? How liveable is the city for people affected by poverty? How is the queer community fighting for equal rights and how are anti-racist movements shaping the identity of urban society? And what's going on in Munich's nightlife?

Access to the exhibition will be free of charge and barrier-free. We look forward to your visit!
