Water is the basis of all life. Our bodies are largely made up of water. Water is also everywhere around us, in our food, as part of plants and animals, in the earth, the air and the water.
But what happens when fresh water becomes scarce due to climate change? When droughts and floods become commonplace? In view of the coming crises, can we succeed in living more with nature again instead of against it? And what can we learn from water?
In the workshop, we use theater pedagogical methods, embodiment exercises and inspirations from the play "DURST - The Future of Water" to experience an education for sustainability that enables a body-based and holistic experience and learning. The workshop invites you to play, feel, explore and dream: How does water move? What would it tell us? How does it feel to be connected and what would a world look like in which we live more in harmony with life?
The workshop is free of charge, requires no prior knowledge and is aimed at anyone interested in climate and environmental policy and theater. Educational advisors, teachers and other multipliers are also very welcome.
The room is located on the 1st floor and can only be reached via stairs. There is also no barrier-free toilet. The workshop will be held in German spoken language. Please get in touch if you have any questions about accessibility.
