The duo exhibition "White Open" focuses on an aspect of Concrete Art that, after the liberation from the representational, turns to the search for contemporary forms of expression of the immaterial.

Hannah A. Hovermann examines color as a phenomenon of light and thus highlights the relativity of our visual perception. Her works are created using a meditative and elaborate glazing technique. Hovermann creates color phenomena in the field of tension between material substance and immaterial effectiveness, thus questioning our visual habits.

Norbert Müller-Everling's works are based on geometrically clear designs that derive their vitality from the virtuoso handling of the semi-transparent material wax. His minimalist pictorial objects allow us to participate in his artistic and philosophical exploration of light and material.

"White Open" is an invitation to the viewer to engage in a contemplative art experience.
