Vikings are strong, fearless and loud fellows by nature. Only Wickie is quite different: reserved and incredibly clever. But his father, the Viking chief Halvar, doesn't like that. One day, when a horde of ruthless warriors attacks Wickie's village of Flake and takes all the children with them, Wickie is the only one who remains undiscovered by chance. Wickie's father and his men Tjure, Snorre, Urobe, Gorm, Ulme and the good-natured, strong Faxe immediately hoist the sails. Not without Vicky, of course, who secretly accompanies his tribe on the adventurous rescue mission. With his clever and unique ideas, he always manages to save himself and his friends from all dicey situations. True to the motto "brains instead of brawn".
