After a breakdown, the internationally successful conductor Daniel Daréus returns to his small home village to find peace and quiet. But his arrival does not go unnoticed. The village pastor immediately offers him the position of cantor, whose duties also include conducting the local choir. At first, Daniel is reluctant to take on this new role, but the more he gets involved with the old and new acquaintances, their idiosyncrasies and stories, the more his belief in the healing power of music - especially in community - returns. However, his unconventional methods are not only met with enthusiasm. What begins as a small experiment becomes a revelation - for Daniel, for the choir and for the whole village.
As in Heaven - As in'n Heven, based on the Oscar-nominated film of the same name, tells a story full of passion, music and humanity.
