Wie umgehen mit Rassismus in der klassischen deutschen Philosophie

Many philosophical classics contain passages that openly express or subliminally convey racist attitudes. How can the relevant passages be identified? How can we discuss these texts in a differentiated way without blocking a (self-)critical debate or leading the discussion to unproductive extreme positions? Which historical knowledge and which philosophical methods help us here? Using selected text passages, assessment standards are developed. The aim is to achieve an appropriate awareness of the problem that enables further engagement with the texts in question without trivializing the critical findings.
