Wie weiter nach den Wahlen in Hamburg?

In the organizer's words:

The results of the last elections are casting a shadow. The social climate is harsh and misanthropic attitudes are becoming increasingly entrenched in the so-called center of society. Democratic values and social cohesion are increasingly being challenged. Civil society actors are countering this on a daily basis, but are coming under increasing pressure due to the (extreme) right-wing electoral successes.

How should right-wing electoral successes be assessed? What can be done to counteract them? How can we strengthen each other and what do we need to look positively into the future?

Andreas Speit will give a short talk to introduce the discussion. Speit is a journalist and publicist on right-wing extremism and neo-Nazism in Europe and will give a lecture on the (extreme) right in Hamburg and an analysis of the results of the parliamentary elections. The event will be moderated by Hamburg Vernetzt gegen Rechts.

In accordance with § 6 para. 1 VersG, persons who belong to right-wing extremist parties or organizations, who belong to the right-wing extremist scene or who have already made racist, nationalist, anti-Semitic or other inhuman statements in the past are excluded from the meeting. The organizers reserve the right to exercise their domiciliary rights.
