Wiegedood released a milestone in post-black metal with their "De Doden Hebben Het Goed" trilogy, which came to an end in 2018. Raw, honest and without a false image, the three albums made an uncompromising statement. Now the Belgians are bringing 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝟐 𝐬𝐭𝐮̈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐭 to the stage and will also be making a stop at Werk 2 in Leipzig on 13.09.2025 together with Treha Sektori.

Gilles Demolder (guitar), Wim Coppers (drums) and Levy Seynaeve (guitar, vocals) are no strangers to post-black metal circles. All three play with Oathbreaker and Seynaeves. Apart from these figureheads of Belgian underground finesse, they enrich the rural scene with another combo: 𝐖𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐝. The band's origin story is tragic. It was formed in 2014 as a direct reaction to the death of a friend of Copper's: Florent Pevée. They dedicated the album trilogy "De Doden Hebben Het Goed" (in German: "Die Toten Haben Es Gut") to him. "This is our way of honoring him," the musicians explain. "He was a great musician and died at the age of just 21. It's in our nature to hold on desperately to people and things we love." This trilogy, which was completed in 2018, will now be performed in its entirety as part of a special tour and thus honored as a complete work. Get ready for post-black metal without frills or compromises.

Wiegedood will be accompanied by 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢, the main solo project of Paris-based musician and visual artist Dehn Sora. It was founded in 2009 and emerged from solitary explorations of the world. A sound work centered around breath, ceremony and a relationship with the primal. Inspired by ritual music, dark ambient, folk and industrial, the music is an inner journey without landmarks. It expresses itself in its own instinctive language. The project sees itself as cross-media and combines the records with book publications and works of art. The artworks play with both sound and image. The project expands on stage through various visuals and the performer in a silhouette-like state. Treha Sektori has already wowed visitors at Ancient Echoes II and we are delighted that he is once again making his way to Leipzig.
