Herman Brood 's legendary band back 'live' on stage

Wild Romance is the band of the Dutch singer and pianist

Herman Brood ( 1947 - 2001 ) and is the symbol of Dutch rock music.

The band was founded in November 1976 in Groningen. The name comes from a song line by the US American jazz and blues singer Mose Allison : " and I lost my mind in a wild romance "

The guitarist Dany Lademacher joins the band of Hermann Brood & His Wild Romance in 1977. This is the beginning of one of the most successful bands in the history of Dutch rock and they conquered the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Spain. The band also celebrated success in other European countries.

Dany Lademacher and Hermann Brood wrote a number of big hits that are still popular in rock music today, such as "Never be Clever" and "Saturday night", which reached seventeenth place in the Billboard Hot 100 in the USA. The name Wild Romance still makes the hearts of many music lovers in Europe beat faster. The rock band went down in the history of rock music as an absolute live sensation with great stage presence and enthusiasm.

Hermann Brood would have turned 75 this year on November 2nd. However, Hermann decided to jump from the Hilton Hotel on July 11, 2001 and commit suicide.

For a few years now, the band has been back on stage with full force under the direction of multi-award-winning star guitarist Dany Lademacher... The band continues to live out its "stage addiction" with regular appearances in the Benelux and Germany. Lead singer Jo De Roeck interprets the lyrics and songs of Hermann Brood in a real rock n roll way that inspires and captivates the audience. Guitarist David Hollestelle, who accompanied Hermann for 20 years, is also part of this band. Together with the grove of bassist Gee Carlsberg and drummers Jan t Hoen and Otto Kooymanns, they bring Hermann Brood's repertoire, with all the great hits, back to the stage in a fresh and

fresh and with great joy of playing joie de vivre and rock feeling on stage as well as the new songs from the top albums: No time (2018) and Veronica tapes (2019)
