Ania has a strange encounter on her way to work. She comes face to face with a wolf in the middle of the park. They look each other straight in the eye - and she feels as if her previous life was a joke. The moment never leaves her, nor does the thought of finding the wolf again and never letting it go. Ania becomes a hunter, lays tracks and manages to catch the wild animal. She locks it up in her high-rise apartment, breaking all the shackles of her previous bourgeois life. Surprisingly, the people around her take a liking to it, especially her boss Boris (Georg Friedrich), who seeks her out like never before. It almost seems as if they all share a similar, secret, wild longing.

The Academy of Media Arts Cologne is delighted to have Nicolette Krebitz as a substitute professor for feature film directing from the winter semester 2024 until the end of the summer semester 2025. Together with Patrick Orth, Professor of Artistic Image Design/Cinematography, she will conduct the largest practical film exercise for directing students this year. As part of the feature film exercise, up to ten short films will be developed, each with two actors, and shot under professional conditions on a set constructed in the KHM studios.
