A musical reading by and with Mo Röttgen and Wolfgang Kienast
Once again, the joy of storytelling meets wild herb love and record nostalgia: after the successful premiere in December last year, podcaster Mo Röttgen from "Kraut im Ohr. Dein Wildkräuterpodcast" and wild herb expert Wolfgang Kienast from "stadtwildkraut" will be hosting another musically accompanied reading evening about the wild and edible plant world. Of course they will be reading different texts, of course there will be new musical ingredients.
The two are united by their passion for nettles, plantain, goutweed and the like; they rediscover the vegetation in the city between manhole covers and cracks in walls. Mo writes expressive herb essays about them and Wolfgang has been writing the popular wild herb columns for "bodo", the street magazine for Bochum, Dortmund and the surrounding area, for almost 16 years. Their odes to wild plants combine relevant facts with catchy cultural stories. Wolfgang also plays the appropriate records, musical gems that sing the praises of urban flora. Sometimes it sounds soft, sometimes weird, sometimes pop and sometimes classical. After all, he is not least a DJ.
