Experience the local wildlife on Georgswerder Energy Hill!

For the "Long Day of Urban Nature", the environmental education department of Stadtreinigung Hamburg invites you to the Georgswerder energy mountain to discover the local wildlife. On Saturday, June 21, explore the insect world on the energy mountain or find out how the Georgswerder landfill has developed into a habitat for plants and animals.

Two guided tours will be offered in cooperation with the Loki Schmidt Foundation:

12pm-3pm: "Habitats and insect fauna at the Georgswerder landfill" with Thorsten Demuth from Neuntöter e.V.

1 - 3 p.m.: "Georgswerder energy mountain and wildlife - former landfill site now a habitat for plants and animals" with Julian Sahm from Stadtreinigung Hamburg.

The meeting point for the guided tours is the Georgswerder energy mountain information center.
