Only the strongest brotherhoods emerge from ten years of triumphs and tragedies: despite car crashes, international successes, on-stage magic and off-stage failures, Will and the People have maintained a strong belief and confidence in the power of their music. They emerge roaring from their darkest days, hell-bent on a brighter horizon. Originally starting out as a punk-ska band, it wasn't long before they began experimenting with their sound, resulting in a more inclusive dub-pop aesthetic. While pursuing their interest in psychedelic sound elements, from there they fell into a surreal psych-polka-pop phase and then ended up with electro-rock. While they ventured into a futuristic R&B blend adorned with dark soul vibes, muse-like robo-rock riffs and operatic backing choirs, they also occasionally produced politically-minded sleaze-rocker tracks or some brooding, Arabic-tinged grooves.

Then came the new phase... Enigmatic folk, hard rock, pop and especially hip-hop as they tried to bridge the gap between Lil Peep in his bedroom and Arctic Monkeys in a huge studio. Their latest sound is a powerful and unique combination of punky ska hip-hop grooves with a mix of rocking, heavy and dirty guitars and hip-hop drums. All in all, Will and the People are on an endless creative mission to express everything that has ever inspired them and that comes from their own boundless soul. With all that and their sixth studio LP released last summer 2023 is exactly what makes them a thoroughly exciting and entertaining band to keep an eye on.

It's also worth noting that they've built up a string of collaborations with artists such as Rag'n'Bone Man, Sticky Fingers, Easy Life, Lime Cordiale, Ocean Alley, Todd LaTourette, The Feeling, Reverend and the Makers and Rose Gray.
