"Youth culture, DIY, right now! This should be the goal in all basements of the city. With great role models from various teen rock scenes (Brixton/London, Chicago, Melbourne, Seoul, Philadelphia etc.), the young musicians from Munich decided to redefine many things within the local music scene for themselves. The deal is to play shows and meet new friends, create connections between local bands and friends from out of town.

This month the holiday special Winter Basement returns! As usual, this will be the last show of the year so it will be all about celebrating each other and telling each other how funny that one joke really was (and then tell it again and again and laughing hard every time). This time with THE ULTIMATE COVER SHOW: The Basement Cover Show!!! Our dearest friends from town will play covers of their choosing. In between the live covers, our DJ Team will play the hottest hits. From Charli XCX to The Radio Dept., from Pavement to The Cure. From the greatest hits of all time to the shittiest-sounding shoegaze someone recorded in their bathroom. Be prepared for a serious dose of fun, Glühwein, Cookies & Cake, Games, Quiz & Prizes and so much more. We know this sounds crazy but it is true!

THE BASEMENT COVER SHOW (annual special)

The Basement Cover Show feels like a combination of a lucid dream & a fever dream. Our dearest friends from town will play covers that will vary from Coldplay to Linkin Park, from Mr. Saxobeat to Black Sabbath (these are just examples / no promises). One of the most fun shows throughout the entire year. At the end, the Chistmas Basement Ensemble, which is a giant cluster of all bands, will perform and make the end of the year a memorable one.

Other than that we will also have GLÜHWEIN, BAKE SALE, GAME ROOM, QUIZ SHOW & so much more prepared for the night. See you all on this day.
