Over the mountains to the sea

In May 2023, we attempted to climb Mulhacén, the highest peak on the Iberian Peninsula. Unfortunately, a sudden snowstorm forced us to turn back. Despite this setback, we enjoyed the impressive landscape of the Sierra Nevada.

In July 2024, we finally succeeded! We spent two nights in the open air. The view from the summit was breathtaking and rewarded all our efforts. We also spent our time actively with river hikes, canyoning and via ferratas.

To round off our trip, we visited Cabo de Gata-Nijar. Impressive coastal landscapes and the clear waters of the Mediterranean could only be enjoyed! The combination of mountains and sea made this trip a unique experience.
