Wir feiern 40 Jahre Theater im Pumpenhaus

In the organizer's words:

On May 10, the Pumpenhaus will be 40 years old. That's four decades in which the theater has grown as a place for strong artistic statements, in which extraordinary artists and companies have been promoted and developed. As a tribute, we are showing Travelogue I - Twenty to eight by Sasha Waltz and Pitt Hartmanns/ RedArts Zu Gast bei W./ W. Hiller, two works that each represent a separate chapter in the history of the Pumpenhaus - and with which we look back to the future. Instead of indulging in candles and cakes, we see the anniversary as an incentive not to stand still. The theater is needed more urgently than ever as a meeting place where we can question a world in a spin cycle together. And take courage together.
