A scenic exchange of letters between Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan with Drums & Percussion.

Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan wrote letters to each other over a period of twenty years and tried to find each other again and again: between the cities, the words, the work, the other relationships, the impossibility of contact, the longing for each other

Together with a drummer, the two actors set out in search of what Ingeborg and Paul wanted to say to each other in the first five years of their encounter and what they concealed from each other in all the unsent and unwritten letters. Until they give up love and attempt friendship. There is nothing more to say. They remain silent. "Harder days are coming".

Awarded the jury prize at the 32nd Arena Festival of the young arts Erlangen.
