Age is a major risk factor for certain brain diseases, such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's. One thing these diseases have in common is the misfolding of protein molecules in the brain. But how does this process work? How do we research these diseases? Let's go on a journey of discovery with insights into medical history, disease mechanisms and personal fates.
