In the exhibition within reach, students from Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts present documentary photo and video projects that were created both during an excursion to Georgia in May 2024 and during the course of the semester in Germany.

The works offer different insights into places and social conditions and provide a glimpse into the lives of the protagonists.

The title refers to the excerpt-like character of the works. What is shown is what was "within reach" and captured during the period of creation.

Taken as a whole, the works convey a multi-layered picture of stories that make visible what often remains hidden: the challenges, small triumphs and quiet narratives that shape life.
