Woinem Live

The "Woinem Live am Windeckplatz" music series at prime shopping time in Weinheim's pedestrian zone has firmly established itself and found loyal fans. "Will it continue?" And: "Who will be there this year?", friends of the up-close concerts want to know again. The veil has been lifted. Eva Wohlgemuth, who is responsible for city marketing in Weinheim, has now presented this year's program together with the sponsors and partners. Throughout the summer, there will once again be five events on Windeckplatz at Bas Gret and Vetter Philpp, four of them on the first Saturday of the month from 11 am to 2 pm. One will again be an after-work event for evening shopping on Thursday, July 24, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Some of the surrounding stores have already announced corresponding events. "Woinem Live am Windeckplatz" is regarded in the region as an exemplary project for the revitalization of city centre retail.

On Saturday, June 7, there will be a reunion with globetrotter guitarist Andy Botz and singer Monia Krüchten, whose soulful voice fits in very well with the up-close atmosphere of the Windeckplatz concerts. Andy Botz and Monia Krüchten also devote themselves to the classics of soul and pop history. After the "Schultzes" (guitar, vocals and double bass with Jürgen Mojo Schultz and Petra Arnold-Schultz) on July 24 in the evening, the summer morning on August 2 with Mimi Grimm is already a good tradition. The singer with the white double bass radiates a homely summer freshness every year. On 6 September, the Weinheim duo Tunesday will conclude "Woinem Live am Windeckplatz", characterized by the octave-rich voice of Kay Ibkendanz, accompanied by Simon Gropp on guitar.

"Woinem Live" is also always a culinary and regional experience, essentially created by the Woinemer Hausbrauerei, as well as Henning Seeger's Wineheim-Ape "Bella", coffee specialties from Seiberth and Hug and grilled food from Marc Stockmann. There is no admission charge for the music event.
