Her father came from Bosnia and loved Balkan rock, her mother is Slovenian. Music was always present in her native Maribor. But before that in Sarajevo, where daughter Mirna was born in 1990, the family had lost everything and had to start from scratch. Mirna Bogdanovic, a voice that freely and delicately measures even the highest heights and maintains its own profile against all odds, accompanied by guitarist & Jazz Award winner Peter Meyer (g), Philip Dornbusch (dr), Felix Henkelhausen (b) and Povel Widestrand (p).
