Amalie focuses on mastering the art of floorwork, emphasizing smooth, fluid transitions between close to the floor movements and standing positions. This workshop will improve your technique and allow you to seamlessly integrate dynamic tricks into your dance flow with grace and control. Ideal for those who want to deepen their floorwork practice and expand their expressive movement repertoire.

Amalie is focused on mastering the art of floorwork, emphasizing soft, fluid transitions between grounded movements and standing positions. This class will enhance your technique, allowing you to seamlessly integrate dynamic tricks into your dance flow with grace and control. Ideal for moves aiming to deepen their floorwork practice and expand their expressive movement repertoire.

Amalie Stitz

Amalie's background is in hip hop and acrobatics, which is also reflected in her work.

She not only works as a choreographer and director of her own crew in Berlin, but has also worked with renowned companies such as the Danish Dance Theatre, the Holstebro Dance Company and the FMKF Collective.

With her distinctive style, she has taught in cities all over the world, including New York, Berlin, Lisbon, Oslo, Tallinn and Copenhagen. Amalie currently dances for the ISH Dance Collective based in Amsterdam.

Amalie's background stems from hiphop and acrobatics, which also can be seen in her work.

Beyond choreographing with and leading her own crew in Berlin, Amalie has collaborated with prestigious companies such as, Danish Dance Theatre, Holstebro Dance Company, and FMKF Collective.

Her distinctive style has brought her teaching to cities around the world, including New York, Berlin, Lisbon, Oslo, Tallinn, and Copenhagen.At the moment Amalie is dancing for ISH Dance Collective based in Amsterdam.

WORKSHOPS

In each workshop you will work intensively with one of the artists over 3 days.

Each workshop is offered for two levels:
SOFT - slower tempo, for relaxed dancers or those with little previous experience
INTENSIVE - faster tempo, for motivated or with more dance experience & professionals

10:00-12:30 Intensive

13:30-16:00 Soft
