Workshop für keramischen Siebdruck

In the organizer's words:

Screen printing on ceramics? Yes, with the help of a combination of screen printing and a transfer process, as well as glaze firing, we apply our own designs to already glazed porcelain (e.g. used from the flea market or home-made).

IMPORTANT: A good basic knowledge of screen printing is a prerequisite for your registration. You don't have to be a professional, but you should understand the printing process, have done it yourself at least once and have a good command of it, so that this part is nothing new to you.

The ideal basis for this is, for example, my screen printing workshop! If you are not sure whether your knowledge is sufficient, please contact me by email!

In the first part, we will focus on theory, our motifs and the printing supports. You can either bring your own porcelain pieces or buy pieces from my collection of vintage porcelain on site.

We will then expose the screens - at this point there will be time for a short lunch break, during which you can either bring something to eat or get something nearby.

Then we finally get down to printing and, of course, applying the motifs to the porcelain. There will also be a short coffee break in between.

The firing will take place in the following weeks. You can then collect your workpieces at an agreed time. I can also send you your results by arrangement.
