📍Location: DILL community garden

In this workshop, we would like to take a theoretical, philosophical and practical approach to the topic of compost with garden expert Falk Buchheim. After a theoretical input, we will build a practical composting system together.

You will learn:

🌱what processes take place during decomposition

🌱what the ideal conditions for compost are

🌱what you can compost

🌱but also a lot about philosophy and maybe a little bit about magic.

Composting - or "humunization" - is one of the most important tasks in a horticultural circular economy. Or to put it philosophically in the words of Donna Haraway: "We are compost, not posthuman; we inhabit humunism, not humanism."

He explains: How does compost work?
He asks questions to think about.
Then we build a compost heap together.

You will learn:
🌱What happens during rotting.
🌱What compost needs.
🌱What you are allowed to put in the compost.
🌱Why compost is important.
🌱And also: something to marvel at.
