Workshop "Mit Hand und Kopf"

In the organizer's words:

Create and animate fantastic stick puppets

Whether mysterious mythical creatures, good spirits or dark demons, animals or humans - in this creative workshop we work together to create imaginative theater figures that come to life with our heads and hands. The focus is on the design of the puppet head, which is constructed from hard foam, laminated, painted and decorated. The players' own hands become the puppet's hands.

In the last part of the workshop, we playfully explore the possibilities of the self-made figures.

No previous knowledge is required. A little manual dexterity and, above all, enjoyment of creating and playing are sufficient. All building materials and prefabricated wooden parts will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own fabrics and decorative materials (preferably after the first meeting on Friday, when you know exactly what is needed).
