Workshop: Namibia – Deutschlands (Post-)Koloniales Erbe

In the organizer's words:

As part of the project "Overcoming Colonial Continuities", this free workshop will be the last point of action: Namibia - Germany's (Post-)Colonial Legacy.

When:
21.11.2024
6 to 8 pm

Where:
Rosental 1 44135 Dortmund

The workshop will give a brief overview of colonial history, but will focus primarily on the time afterwards.

To this end, we will look at the aftermath of colonialism in Namibia today and in particular at Germany's (inadequate) efforts to come to terms with it.
The workshop is designed to be interactive and offers plenty of space for questions and discussions.

Speaker:
Patricia Reinsch, ethnologist (M.A.)
Stays abroad through weltwärts in Namibia (2013/2014) and research stay in Namibia (2019)

We look forward to seeing you!
