In this workshop, participants will learn how to bring a puppet to life and how to work with it on stage. Short dramatic studies are followed by the development of play situations: Individually, in pairs and in a group. The participants interact not only with the puppet, but also with each other and develop play scenes. The instructor Neville Tranter will bring a special practice puppet. Participants can bring their own puppet, but this is not necessary.
Australian Neville Tranter, who lives in the Netherlands, is one of the best-known puppeteers in Europe. His whimsical folding puppets and his virtuoso acting are also familiar to Munich audiences from productions such as "Salome", "Molière", "Schicklgruber" and most recently "Babylon". Tranter is the founder and leading force of the Stuffed Puppet Theatre and a director and lecturer in the field of puppetry.
