Build the Matriarchy - Workshop Sophia Fritz

In the organizer's words:

Build the Matriarchy

Led by Sophia Fritz & Christina Lehr

"Fuck the Patriarchy" - a powerful protest that breaks boundaries. But what comes next? The workshop Built the Matriarchy adds a constructive perspective to this call: self-determination as a basis for actively building matriarchal structures.
This two-day workshop will take place in Rostock as part of the feminist day of struggle in March and offers women the opportunity to experience self-empowerment, find their voice and use it powerfully in their lives.
The first part of the workshop is about presence and visibility. Participants explore what they need to feel comfortable and take up space. They learn to show themselves vulnerably without falling into shame, pride or withdrawal. This introduction creates the basis for positioning themselves confidently and authentically.
The next step focuses on the topic of consent and emotional self-reflection. Participants deal with formative childhood experiences that have influenced their relationship to their own voice. They recognize emotional patterns and learn to break through them in order to regain their expressive power.
Another important component of the workshop is somatic experience. Here, the connection between intimacy and voice is explored. The participants question beliefs that block their power and deal with topics such as dissociation, shame and crossing boundaries. The aim is to experience one's own voice as a tool for self-determination and connection.
Objective
Build the Matriarchy is more than a workshop - it is an invitation to celebrate your voice and consciously co-create the world. Self-determination begins with the ability to claim your space, set boundaries and express your needs.
Through somatic exercises, voicing techniques and group sharing, a space is created for women to empower each other and lay the foundation for a collaborative future.
This workshop is not only a journey into self-empowerment, but also a contribution to building an equal and respectful society.
