Wiebke Dobers is offering this workshop in connection with the presentation of the residency as part of Fo(u)r Exchange.

Workshop description

The workshop gives an insight into Wiebke Dobers' research "vielleicht. transgressions (AT)". After a joint warm-up, we will observe and embody gendered gestures. This performative body language will serve as reference material. In a second step, we will try out techniques such as blending, zapping and slowing down in order to explore the escape and ambiguity of gender. We will work with structured improvisation.
