SomoS Arts is pleased to announce the exhibition worm hole in star in collaboration with curator dani neira. The show presents video, installation and performance works by artists jiawen uffline, Lena Becerra, Lucila Sancineti and Maria Kobylenko.

The exhibition interprets wormholes both as tunnels dug by animals and as hypothetical connections in space and time, conceiving of wormholes as pathways to the "other". Through this speculative lens, the artists' works explore the relationships between bodies, environments and technologies from various queer and feminist perspectives. The works are attuned to human and non-human relationships and find a kinship with bugs, pests and parasites as abject figures associated with disruption, contamination and mutation. In the search for social and political alternatives, a porous and interdependent "other" takes shape through leaks, hybrid creatures, floating cocoons and microscopic ecosystems. Much like an "instar" - the stage of an arthropod between molting periods - worm hole in star embraces an ambiguous state of becoming.
