The Kulturhaus Schwanen in Waiblingen is once again opening its stage for eloquent performances and spontaneous poetry. The popular spoken word series "Wortgewand(t)" is entering the next round and invites you to an open poetry slam, hosted by poetry slammer and magician Jonas Pan, who will be the slam master for the program and guide you through the evening.
Whether humorous anecdotes, profound poetry or powerful statements - there are no limits to creativity at a poetry slam. The only important thing is that the texts are self-written and that the performance does not exceed the time limit of six minutes. Costumes and props are deliberately avoided in order to focus entirely on the power of the words.
True to the motto "The points are not the point; the point is poetry", the pure joy of language and poetry is at the heart of this lively format. "Wortgewand(t)" is more than just a competition - it is an open space for inspiration and the discovery of new literary voices.
Participation is expressly encouraged!
The Kulturhaus Schwanen encourages all those who wish to present their texts to an enthusiastic audience.
Whether you are new to the stage or an experienced performer, young or old - everyone is welcome to be part of this special evening.
Those interested can register in advance at poetryslam@kulturhaus-schwanen.de or spontaneously grab one of the coveted performance slots by drawing lots at the Box Office.
