Jascha Schütz was awarded the Hamburg Rolf Mares Theater Prize 2022 for his outstanding acting performance as Woyzeck.

Georg Büchner's outcry of a tortured creature as a gripping solo: alone on death row awaiting his execution, Woyzeck is repeatedly haunted by the demons of his past: by the captain who humiliated him; by the doctor who abused him for medical experiments; by the drum major who took his wife away; by Marie, who betrayed him - and whom he killed. The psychogram of a perpetrator who is a victim - and a passionate plea for humanity.
