Woyzeck - Eine Entscheidung

Carsten Caniglia and Patricia Foik present their rewriting of Büchner's drama fragment in a projective dance and acting performance.
Back from the war, Woyzeck is no longer the same. Through the shocks of oppression, social constraints, isolation and dehumanization by his superiors, he has lost access to himself. Marie, on the other hand, wants to live. She is strong, independent and knows her way. Her hope and love for Woyzeck alone make her stay with him. Woyzeck wants to regain control of his life, wants to love Marie, but the guilt and the loss of all identity leave the soldier in a cycle of doubt. A coin toss becomes the central motif and Woyzeck's decision to relinquish responsibility has dramatic consequences...
