Nadine is doing everything she can to stay young, toned and attractive even at 50. But when her husband Philipp turns to a prostitute, she is plunged into a deep life crisis. What does the other woman have that she doesn't? Julie also feels isolated in her new job as a recording manager for a TV show. Is she really too difficult, too sensitive, too loud? But even when she raises her voice, no one really wants to listen. Sonja and Milan, who have since separated, also find it difficult to listen. At a family therapy session, they try to find a common language, but when Sonja finds out about Milan's new partner, it hits her hard. Afraid of being left alone, she ventures into dating herself - and realizes that she is looking for something completely different.

In "Wunderschöner", Karoline Herfurth always goes at least one step further - to where it really hurts, where it really touches, where it's really funny.
