The WupperSlam ANNUAL FINALE is coming up!

On Thursday, June 26 at 7:30 pm it's time for the Final! That's when the winners of our previous slams will take to the stage to crown the ultimate WupperSlam champion.

It's not just about a special trophy and the honor, but also a possible starting place at the NRW Poetry Slam Championships. So it's worth being there!

Since the end of 2022, presenter, poet and literature prize winner Anna Lisa Azur has been welcoming people to the WupperSlam every fourth Thursday of the month in front of the unique stage design of the K4 Theater. At this poetry slam, artists compete against each other with texts they have written themselves. Props and costumes are not permitted, but there are no limits to the subject matter and style. Everything from sharp-witted humor to moving poetry is included. The audience decides who wins in the end: each entry is scored on a scoreboard before the best entries are decided by applause in the final.
