In a time of uncertainty, Jerry and Yve set off on an adventurous journey to find answers. What gives people on the other side of the world hope? For six months, they cross the vast expanses of South America in their camper van, following 21 signposts that lead them to Yabadu - the mystical book of hope.

Yabadu stands for the happiness that can only be found if we look at the world with an open heart, naively and impartially. In the midst of untouched nature, vibrant cultures and unforgettable encounters, they discover how important it is to preserve the child within and to appreciate the beauty of the little things in life anew.

This dreamy and touching journey is thought-provoking and immerses viewers in a world where hope and joy can be found - if we allow ourselves to be guided by the simple wonders of life.
